Module 3: Memory Management

Memory management is one central task of any modern operating system. In this module, students learn about memory management. It has a strong emphasis on pagination and virtual memory intricacies. They also acquire knowledge on how the memory management unit of the operating system actually achieve its task. In order to apply their knowledge, the students implement several page replacement algorithms inside a simulator.
